Natural Wool Blend Boucle Heath Jacket from Wax London is a short zip jacket cut in a regular fit from an Italian wool-blend bouclé. The richly textured bouclé weave has a melange finish, so the natural, off-white tone shows soft flecks and variations up close rather than a flat cream. It's fully lined in a cotton-blend herringbone and finished with welt pockets, shirt-style button cuffs and an internal pocket for everyday use.
Bouclé is woven from looped yarns, which give the fabric its nubby, tactile surface and a soft, warm handle. The Heath's wool-blend bouclé brings the warmth and character of wool, while the polyester, acrylic and polyamide in the blend help it hold its shape and stand up to everyday wear. It's a jacket for autumn, winter and cooler spring days, worn on its own over a knit or as a smart layer under a heavier overcoat when it gets properly cold. As a wool-blend bouclé it isn't a rain jacket, so it's best kept for dry days or worn under a weatherproof coat.
The classic short zip silhouette sits at the waist, so it looks neat over trousers and doesn't add bulk. The regular fit leaves enough room for a shirt, sweatshirt or fine-gauge knit underneath without looking oversized. The full lining is a big part of the comfort and structure: a cotton-blend herringbone through the body so it sits smoothly over a shirt or knit, and 100% viscose in the sleeves so it slides on and off easily. The shirt-style button cuffs are a smart detail you don't usually see on a zip jacket, and they let you adjust the fit at the wrist.
In natural, the Heath is a lighter, softer alternative to the usual dark winter jacket, and the bouclé texture really shows in this colour. Wear it over navy, brown or olive knitwear, a denim shirt or a striped Oxford, with dark indigo jeans, brown cords or navy wool trousers. For a tonal look, go cream on cream with ecru denim and a white tee. It works with suede boots, loafers or white trainers, and sits naturally with navy, chocolate brown, olive, tan and grey.
Wax London has been making menswear since 2015, bringing a mix of character and responsibility to everyday clothing through textured fabrics, considered cuts and responsibly sourced materials. The Heath Jacket is made in Morocco from Italian wool-blend fabric.
Dry clean only. As a lighter colour, it's worth dealing with any marks promptly by taking it to a dry cleaner rather than rubbing at the bouclé. Between wears, hang it on a shaped hanger so the bouclé keeps its texture and the shoulders keep their shape.

International orders will be shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) and may incur duties, fees and import taxes upon delivery. By placing an order with The Local Merchants, you acknowledge that you understand this and that you are responsible for any such charges. Australian Customers: no import tax or duties are payable for orders under AUD 1,000 (including shipping). Please get in touch with us if you would like to order in excess of this amount.
Refusal of Delivery for EU & R.O.W:
If a customer refuses to pay any of these, the delivery will be returned to us, and the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from the final refund amount. This will be charged at our standard shipping rate applicable to the original destination country. The original shipping cost for the parcel to be sent to the EU/ROW will not be refunded in the case of a refused parcel.

Online refund policy: Purchases made online are governed by UK Distance Selling Regulations, and the returns process differs from in-store purchases.

The cost and responsibility of returning the item are yours. We recommend using a trackable, insured service, as we cannot accept liability for lost or damaged parcels. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If returning from overseas, please mark the parcel ‘RETURNED GOODS’ to avoid customs charges. Any taxes or duties incurred are the customer’s responsibility. You have 14 days from receipt to return your item for a full refund.
If we’ve made an error with your order, please contact us immediately and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.
Items must be received in the same condition they were sent — unworn, with all original labels and packaging intact.
Garments showing any marks, scent, or signs of wear may be subject to a cleaning fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds: Should you need to return anything purchased at The Local Merchants store, please bring your receipt and unworn items back for a refund based on the original payment method. Restrictions apply.
Please bring your receipt and the item in its original condition, back within 28 days for a refund via your original form of payment or gift card.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to process exchanges for non-UK customers.
Exchanges: Any items purchased at The Local Merchants store can be exchanged. You can exchange your purchase for another item or gift card at The Local Merchants store that accepts the same currency as the original purchase.
Items purchased in The Local Merchants store or thelocalmerchants.co.uk can be exchanged in-store within 28 days.
Please note that we monitor the number of returns made by customers, and continued returns will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion or led to the closure of your The Local Merchants account. Your statutory rights are not affected.
