Navy Twill Tech New Danny is Alessandro Gherardi’s shirt jacket for AW26 — a hybrid piece cut from a technical wool-blend twill, built to hold its shape and structure like outerwear while still layering as easily as a shirt.

Worn buttoned over a tee or knit as a lightweight jacket, or open over a shirt for extra texture, the New Danny is designed to sit at the top of a smart-casual AW26 outfit rather than underneath one.

Alessandro Gherardi learned his craft over twenty years at Tiber Camiceria before opening his own atelier in Italy, now run alongside his sons, brother, nephews and nieces. Every shirt is still entirely handmade — cut, sewn, buttonholed and finished by hand — and the house is best known for its own take on the button-down: a deliberately oversized, four-finger collar the brand calls the “XH”, worn open or buttoned down, that sits apart from the standard three-finger collar used almost everywhere else.

Given the wool content, we’d recommend dry cleaning to keep the twill’s shape and finish through the season.
